We hold annual international conferences – annually on clinical ethics, and biannually on research ethics. Participants can expect to hear from local and international experts and discuss key issues in clinical/research ethics with colleagues from across Singapore.

The aims of our clinical ethics conferences are to provide a learning and networking opportunity for healthcare professionals, clinical ethics committee (CEC) members, and CEC administrators interested in clinical ethics skills and responsibilities.

Typically, our conference format consists of a series of short primers, roundtable analyses, and panel discussions. Invited international and local experts will present concise primers to introduce the conference themes. The primers will be followed by panel discussions, or roundtable case analyses where participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives. At the end of each roundtable discussion, participants will reconvene and share their thoughts and insights, including suggesting policy and practice recommendations moving forward.
